SM Accounting Solutions was formed in June 2004 by Sarah McGuinness as an Accounting and Training practice. Sarah has a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance and a Certificate in Training and Continuing Education from NUI Maynooth. She is a chartered certified accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). The business was set up to help small to medium sized businesses get a handle on their business accounting, finances and taxation, using a personal, hands-on approach.

Sarah has planned, developed and delivered training courses on behalf of the Local Enterprise Offices (LEOs) of South Dublin County, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, Wicklow, Fingal, Offaly, Laois, Roscommon, Longford, Leitrim, Cavan, Monaghan, Westmeath, Kildare and Carlow.
Childcare Sector
She also has written and delivered training courses for Childminding Ireland and many Childcare Committees around the country. Sarah continually develops her training courses using the knowledge and skills that she has accumulated through delivery of courses and from working with her existing business clients in real life scenarios. This ensures that all courses are current, relevant, affective and up to date with the latest Revenue and CRO guidelines.
Mentoring Services
Sarah is also a mentor for the Local Enterprise Offices and offers advice to many different business owners on all aspects of their business accounting and taxes.
